I believe theatre is the ultimate group project. The best theatre is created by well-rounded artists working together to create a common vision, and I strive to foster a supportive and collaborative environment in any shop I run to accomplish just that.
As a Technical Director, I am a boots-on-the-ground jack-of-all-trades. I will never ask a carpenter to perform a task that I haven't or wouldn't do myself. In any build, my top priorities are artistry, equity, and safety.
I hold an MFA in Technical Direction from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Mississippi State University.
